John Richardson

Dear SCARA Member,

Very sadly we have received news that John Richardson passed away on good Friday, 15 April. Many of you will know John from his long service in the Insurance & Claims Department starting from the early days of OCL. John's wife Marjorie tells us that John loved his extensive career working for the company and being part of the birth of the containerisation industry. John also enjoyed the SCARA annual reunions where he met so many friends and colleagues.

Arrangements for the funeral:

• The funeral will take place at 11am on Tuesday 17 May at Beckenham Crematorium, Elmers End Road, Beckenham, BR3 4TD.

• And afterwards at Langley Park Golf Club, Barnfield Wood Road, Beckenham BR3 6SZ for light refreshments and a chance to reflect on John’s long & memorable life.

• Family flowers only, but the family would welcome any donations to the British Heart Foundation in John’s name at https://www.bhf.org.uk/
